Real Event: Fountain Tire Convention
A couple of weeks ago I spent some time at the beautiful Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge coordinating the annual Fountain Tire Store Managers’ Convention. This is the third year that I’ve been involved with this event, and though it takes months to plan, it’s always such a fantastic experience! Anthony + Rina from Infused Studios documented the 3-day convention from start to finish, and they did a phenomenal job! I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves…
The amazing lighting and stage design you see is courtesy of Invert 720 Productions. This Edmonton-based team does first-rate work for large events and conferences. And as always, thanks to the Jasper Park Lodge for being so fabulous to work with!

Real Wedding: Christine + Steve
I had the privilege of helping my good friends Christine + Steve plan their fabulous New Years’ Eve wedding. Christine knew she wanted a modern, black & white affair, with simple yet striking decor. Steve knew he wanted an awesome party to ring in 2010. I think they got both! Here’s a look at Christine + Steve’s amazing day, captured beautifully by Sam Ng Photography:

Fluffy carnation balls with dangling crystals surround the newlyweds as they share their first kiss.

The dinner tables were numbered as different years, and framed table cards featured interesting facts and trivia about that year.

Steve and his groomsmen meticulously measured, cut and hung this beautiful crystal curtain behind the head table.
A big thanks to my assistant Krista for helping coordinate the day!
Congratulations, Christine + Steve – it was an honour to share this experience with you. Many happy years to come!

Bride.ca Features a Jennifer Bergman Wedding!
Last week I received an email from the team at bride.ca. They wanted to profile a wedding featured on our website and I must say – I’m flattered! Turns out it’s my own wedding that they’ve chosen to highlight. You can view the feature here.
Sean and I were married at the Jasper Park Lodge in May 2008, and though I have a background in corporate events, it was really through planning my own wedding that I was inspired to start this business and help other couples bring their dream day to life. I love that weddings can be so unique and personalized to each couple, and one of my favourite parts about this “job” is getting to know my brides + grooms and finding ways to infuse personal touches into their event.
The beautiful photography is courtesy of the highly talented husband and wife duo behind James Design Studios – Julie + David.
