Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Wedding, Part 3: Ceremony + Reception
The final day of events for Sonya and Rahul’s Rocky Mountain destination wedding included the wedding ceremony and reception gala.
The Wedding Ceremony embraced visual restraint. A custom-built 12-foot circular stage finished in whitewashed cedar ensured clear sightlines while preserving the natural mountain panorama. The simplicity focused attention on the ritual itself and heightened the emotional impact of the setting. Floral compositions were arranged in homogeneous clusters – greens, cream, and butter yellow blooms – appearing as if organically growing from the plateau like a meandering alpine meadow.
The final reception pivoted again, this time toward formal glamour. The design concept evolved from Rahul’s love of orca whales, expressed through a bold black-and-white foundation, layered with emerald and forest greens to reconnect to the Rockies. A custom black-and-white diamond dance floor with the couple’s monogram anchored the room, while a 16’ x 16’ chandelier canopy dripping in twinkling lights established vertical drama. Emerald linens, brass accents, and contemporary floral compositions layered depth and richness against the ballroom’s architecture. Candlelight and controlled lighting temperatures were used strategically to create a moody, romantic atmosphere that evolved throughout the evening.
Across all five events, the narrative remained consistent: landscape, culture, travel, and personal history woven into immersive environments. Rather than designing a series of visually beautiful spaces, the weekend unfolded as a cinematic progression – each chapter reflecting a different facet of the couple’s story while remaining rooted in the mountains that inspired it.

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Wedding, Part 2: Haldi + Sangeet
The second day of events for Sonya and Rahul’s destination wedding in Jasper, Canada featured the Haldi Ceremony and the Sangeet.
A Haldi ceremony is a joyous pre-wedding ritual where a paste of tumeric, sandalwood, and oils is applie to the couple to purify, protect, and bless them for a prosperous life. Vibrant citrus tones and organic textures created a warm, celebratory atmosphere. The ceremonial backdrop was positioned between two existing trees and enhanced with suspended florals and ribbons, baskets of bountiful citrus, and native greenery. The design elevated the natural setting, rather than overpower it.
In contrast, the Northern Lights themed Sangeet embraced saturation and drama. The Beauvert Ballroom was fully draped and transformed using layered lighting in jewel-toned purples, fuchsia, cobalt, teal, and lime. White lounge furnishings were deliberately selected to reflect and amplify the dynamic lighting palette. A 20-foot fabric entrance tunnel created anticipation before releasing guests into a vibrant, textural celebration space. Centrepieces included ornate gold lanterns and Indian-inspired vessels, vibrant blooms, and statement tropical greens. The aesthetic energized guests and supported an evening centered on performance and dancing.

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Wedding Part 1: The Welcome Party

In May 2025, Sonya and Rahul gathered 200 guests from across the United States in the heart of the Canadian Rockies for a four-day Hindu wedding celebration at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Set against sweeping alpine vistas – just months after devastating wildfires brought tourism in the region to a standstill – their wedding was both a deeply personal milestone and a conscious reinvestment in a community in recovery.
The first event of the weekend – The Welome Party – introduced guests to the setting through a playful interpretation of Canadian culture. Denim-inspired fashion, a canoe bar, regional food and beverage and lawn games immediately established a sense of place and relaxed guests into the destination environment. The informal aesthetic encouraged interaction and set a welcoming tone for the weekend ahead.
This destination wedding weekend received an 11-page feature in Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine’s National Volume 11 issue!

Elevated Garden-Inspired Tent Wedding on a Private Estate
This extraordinary summer wedding was hosted on a private estate, where we transformed the picturesque property into a full-scale event venue over the course of six days. With 260 guests in attendance, the celebration balanced grandeur and intimacy, blending the natural surroundings with elevated design.
The ceremony took place outdoors on a sunlit August afternoon, overlooking a tranquil pond framed by the estate’s lush greenery. Cocktails were served beneath a clear-top tent where guests mingled and explored thoughtfully designed spaces — from custom lounge areas and a video booth to a live painter capturing the celebration in real time.
A second, larger tent hosted dinner and dancing, featuring a bespoke stage design for the band flown in from Beverly Hills, an elegant focal bar, and breathtaking lighting installations. Two grand trees were incorporated into the tent’s interior, weaving in the couple’s love for the outdoors throughout the event design.
Every element — from the custom-built HVAC system ensuring guest comfort, to the tailored bar backwall, stage steps, and architectural features — was meticulously planned and executed to create an immersive, one-of-a-kind experience. The evening unfolded with exceptional cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and lively entertainment, culminating in a celebration that was as technically impressive as it was effortlessly beautiful.

A Swanky Palm Springs Destination Wedding: Jordan + Thomas
When Jordan and Thomas envisioned their wedding weekend, they knew it had to be an experience — not just a day. Channeling the timeless sophistication and vintage spirit of Palm Springs, their celebration was the perfect blend of high-end style, vibrant hospitality, and jazz club glamour.
The festivities began with a poolside welcome cocktail party, complete with signature drinks and relaxed conversation under the desert sky. The following evening, guests gathered for an intimate five-course long table dinner catered by Chef Justin Snyder.
The wedding day unfolded at Mr. Lyons Steakhouse, where each space was thoughtfully staged to create a progressive experience — from an intimate ceremony in the lush Conservatory to a swanky, candlelit dinner with tablescapes of deep red blooms and glowing gold lamps. Between courses, guests sipped perfectly mixed martinis and old fashioneds, the air alive with the smooth sounds of live jazz. As the evening continued, the celebration slipped into Seymour’s speakeasy, where the after party carried the night to a spirited close.
The weekend concluded with a Sunday pool party, where friends and family gathered once more to bask in the sunshine, music, and mimosas — the perfect Palm Springs send-off to a celebration that was as stylish as it was heartfelt.

Kelowna Wedding Planner: Dyanna + Ryan
Dyanna and Ryan had the most amazing wedding weekend in the beautiful Okanagan! We kicked off the festivities with a welcome event at 19 Okanagan, a stunning open air restaurant on a golf course.
The next day, the couple tied the knot at Sanctuary Gardens – a picturesque ceremony venue in West Kelowna with stunning views of the lake. Luckily, the rain tapered off right before the ceremony and made for some beautiful photos. The reception was held at The Laurel Packinghouse in downtown Kelowna. Romantic florals and soft fabrics created a beautiful juxtaposition amidst the historic event space, with an open beam ceiling and brick walls.
It’s always such a treat to plan and produce destination weddings and multi-day events in the Kelowna area. Enjoy this look back at Dyanna and Ryan’s Okanagan wedding weekend!

Palm Springs Destination Wedding Part 2: Haley + Marco
The wedding venue for Haley and Marco’s Palm Springs destination wedding, Toscana Country Club, is unique from most desert venues in that it has lush landscaping, gorgeous stone architecture, and truly feels like you are in Italy. As Palm Springs Wedding Planners and Designers, we decided to embrace the Tuscan vibe of the venue while incorporating a little bit of Palm Springs character.
The result? Tuscan Garden meets Palm Springs Glam! Romantic, floral and contemporary with a splash of edginess. Our colour story was based around olive green, cream and dusty rose, with accents of black and ochre yellow.
Haley had recently graduated culinary school, so food and drinks were very important! Immediately following the ceremony, tray-passed appetizers were served on the Garden Terrace, as guests enjoyed the scenery and live music.
For dinner, guests indulged in their choice of New York strip, Chilean sea bass or Napa Valley rack of lamb for their main course. His and hers signature cocktails were aptly named “Chef’s Kiss” and “McDavid in the Desert,” as the Edmonton Oilers were in the playoffs at the time of the wedding (the couple rarely misses a game).
The reception was held in an outdoor space called “The Olive Grove,” which was filled with gorgeous olive trees. We designed a unique layout to optimize the al-fresco experience. Guests dined at a mix of long wooden rectangle tables and rounds covered in luxe linens. We used black as an accent through the chairs and flatware to bring in a modern vibe to a traditional setting. Two lounge seating areas with contemporary pieces included accents of ochre yellow and dusty rose; colored marble and fluted tables added texture and interest to the vignettes.
The after party was held indoors at Toscana Country Club, and we transformed the space so it felt like a nightclub – transitioning guests to the final portion of the celebration. It was an incredible weekend, and we can’t wait to head back to Palm Springs for more destination weddings in the future!

Palm Springs Destination Wedding Part 1: Haley + Marco
Palm Springs has always been a bucket list destination for us, so when we got the call from Haley and Marco, it was a match made in wedding planning heaven!
Over 150 guests joined the couple in the Palm Springs area for a weekend of celebration. It was important that we designed events reflective of Haley and Marco’s fun-loving personalities. They are social butterflies and love to host their friends – FUN was a priority!
Haley and Marco hosted a “welcome fiesta” on Cinco de Mayo the day prior to the wedding (since it fell on May 5th). The event was held at a private residence in Indian Wells, and was brightly decorated with vibrant colours, florals and pool lanterns. Guests indulged in signature margaritas, tacos and churros, and were serenaded by a Mariachi band. It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend festivities.
